System description

The innovative piping system NiroTherm® combines high-quality press fittings with a black sealing ring made from EPDM (=ethylene propylene diem rubber) and NiroTherm® stainless steel system pipes.

AISI 304: Corrosion-resistant material for heating & cooling!

The fittings and pipes is produced from the material 1.4301 (AISI 304). Due to the well-known corrosion resistance of stainless steel, NiroTherm® offers installers therefore a real alternative compared to conventional steels when it comes to closed systems in humid atmospheres such as screed. Since it needs considerably less isolation against humidity*, the installation is faster and labour costs accordingly lower.

With production started in 2007 and many million articles sold and installed since then, SANHA® has by far the longest market experience with both the material and the products themselves.

Note: From July 2024, the 91000 and 98000 series fittings will have new dimensions. These will be published in the download area. Please do not use an insertion depth marking template for the 91000 and 98000 series. Push the fitting onto the pipe until you feel resistance and mark the insertion depth.

Marking of NiroTherm®

In addition to the system description, NiroTherm® system press fittings are marked on the outside with a red dot.

No interference with laquering & varnish

NiroTherm® fittings are also available in a special silicone-, fat- and oil-free version that does not interfere with laquering e.g. in the automotive or chemical industry. They come with EPDM sealing ring and in separate packaging.

*This does not affect thermal insulation necessitated by national energy efficiency laws.

NiroTherm® is especially useful where carbon steel systems cannot be installed or need to be heavily protected against corrosion. NiroTherm® needs less protection as the material itself offers an additional layer of safety.

Quick installation, no risk of fire.

The connection with stainless steel pipes by cold pressing enables a fast, time-saving installation and eliminates the risk of fire during the process. NiroTherm® installation systems are therefore ideally suited for renovation work.
