NiroSan® Gas (series 17000) | Stainless steel
System description
The piping system consists of high-quality NiroSan® Gas press fittings with yellow moulded sealing rings made of HNBR (hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber) as well as our stainless steel system pipes according to EN 10312, DVGW-Arbeitsblatt GW 541 and EN 10312.
Premium material stainless steel
All NiroSan® Gas press fittings are made of the material 1.4404 / AISI 316L (for moulded fittings) and 1.4408 (for threaded fittings and stainless steel precision castings). The material contains at a minimum of 2.3 % molybdenum and a lower carbon content than the conventional steel quality 316. For this reason material no 1.4404 / 316L is a superior material with higher corrosion resistance than standard stainless steels.
Certified fitting quality
The NiroSan® Gas press system is certified by and in accordance with all important European certification bodies.
NiroSan® Gas has been tested by the DBI-Gastechnologisches Institut e.V. in Freiberg for the use of up to 100 % hydrogen. The piping system carries the "H2ready" quality mark. For the transport of H2, higher operating pressures of up to 16 bar are possible without any problems.
